SYNRESIN FDA - 35
Short oil, penta erithritol esterified alkyd resins, modified with soybean fatty acids.
Principal properties
Excellent resistance to yellowing in light and heat, even at high temperatures.
In stoving enamels : very high gloss and very good gloss retention, excellent hardness and flexibility. Good adhesion on steel, very good chemical resistance.
In air drying applications: dries very fast.
Applications
White and light coloured high quality stoving enamels for motor cars, washing machines, refrigerators and kitchen equipment. Air drying systems with excellent build and colour retention. Two
component polyurethane lacquers. Automotive paints in air drying car refinish paints.

High gloss and good gloss retention. Good adhesion and flexibility, Very good hardness and yellowing resistance. Excellent alkali resistance.
If used with MF - 268 curing can be achieved at just 70 C for one hour. Specially suitable for coatings on plastics for which same material is also available as 70% soln in n-Butanol.
